Lead Data Warehouse Architect Job in White Plains 10607, New York US

This position will provide hands-on development of complex data warehouse and/or business intelligence solutions; plan and executive multiple simultaneous projects within the team domain; manage the cross-functional project teams through the full project lifecycle for multiple projects ensuring the timely delivery of Business Intelligence/DWH solutions to the organization, specially responsible for Data Warehouse/Subject Area Data Marts Architecture / Normalized and De-normalized schemas, relational data modeling, Inmon, Kimball data architecture and methodologies, Slowly Changing Dimensions/ Change Data Capture.

 

           Manages Development and Release of DWH solution across organization.

           Reviews and approve all design and architectural proposals. This includes acquiring final approval from EDW Director.

           Works with architecture team and functional project managers to carry out successful project implementations

           Serves as primary Liaison between Business and IT on DWH development issues

           Leads all aspects of the SDLC which includes gathering of requirements, business and technical assessments, complex back and front-end designs, implementations, testing, data validation, training and deployment.

           Stays abreast in BI and DW field for new techniques and functionality as they pertain to solutions.

 

 

 

Experience

•Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in related field.

•Experience in a care management or health insurer setting required.

•Strong Data Warehouse and ERWIN Data Architecture with Informatica experience.

•Knowledge of Healthcare industry.

 

Skills:

• Expert Data Modeling and ERWIN skills; Data Warehouse Architecture and Industry best practice methodologies

• Expert Data Warehouse Architecture experience and Informatica 8 or above ETL Architecture experience and skills

•Expert SQL skills with SSIS

•Ability to drive technical review sessions, business requirements and prioritization.

•Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•Strong critical thinking skills and Strong project management skills.

 

Background Checks   Drug Screen: 

           Within 24-48 hours of accepting a contingent offer of employment, all candidates will be required to take a Drug test.
