My client is an innovative and successful Global Financial Analytics Firm, with a significant and exciting growth plan ahead for 2012/2013. The firm is currently investing millions of dollars in designing a huge suite of systems and platforms completely from scratch and they have a huge focus on cutting edge technology, open source and high performance computing. The team has a very talented group of technologists in Manhattan through continued success and expansion, the team is seeking to hire an innovative and motivated developer to join them.
The team is looking for a senior and experienced developer to take a key role in the build of a scalable, low latency system to handle market data feeds to multiple consumer applications Due to the potential impact on a large number of client facing applications, emphasis is placed on process optimization and stability during all phases of the software life-cycle.
The C++/C# Technical Lead – Green-Field Low Latency Market Data Feeds Will Require the Following Skill Set;
- C++
- C#
- WCF would be a big plus
- Strong experience of optimization will be ideal
- Ability to lead both people and projects
- Great communication skills and high energy
- Experience in the financial domain (ideally within trading systems, low latency and market data)
The C++/C# Technical Lead – Green-Field Low Latency Market Data Feeds Will Have the Following Responsibilities;
- Take a lead/senior role in a team of very experienced and talented technologists
- Lead the design and development of a scalable, low latency system to handle market data feeds to multiple consumer applications.
- Take ownership of complex problems and implement solutions in a time critical manner
- Have in depth knowledge of OO design and code development practices
