Position Description:

As part of the creation of a new Portfolio Management product offering, Asset Arena is currently looking for a Lead Developer.
The Lead Developer will work on all aspects of the software development life-cycle including: technical specifications, software design, development and application testing.
S/He will also lead a local team of 3 developers.
More particularly, in the first phase of the project, the Lead Developer will work closely with the Paris Product Management team to define and put in place the development process organization (Tools, methods, best practices, etc.)
The position includes the following roles on a daily basis:
• Lead a team of 3 developers
• Do the reporting to the Paris Product Management team
• Write software to implement business functional requirements
• Defining unit tests
• Code Quality - QA:
• Assist the testing group in developing integration and functional tests
• Level 3 support:
• Analysis of software defects and feedback to PS teams.
Position Requirements:
The candidate will have at least 5 years experience in Java Application development and design.
A business understanding of the Asset Management would be advantageous.
Technical skills:
Java (J2EE), Spring, Web2.0 (HTML, CSS, Ajax) , Junit,
JIRA, Maven
Oracle and SQL
Being part of a small team dedicated to the launching of a new product, the candidate will need:
• To be a strong team player able to efficiently manage the local development team and report to the Paris Product Management Team.
• To have a good standard of English (French is a plus)
• To be able to work under pressure
