Lead Developer recruitment
Our client, a small company that have shown significant growth through the recent recession growing from a two man operation to a now 10 person operation gaining significant clients in the public and private sector, are looking for a senior lead developer with C#, MVC, WCF, Entry framework, SQL Server and XML experience.
The product is a multi-tenanted web application. It allows cross collaboration between different organisations, whilst providing configuration to individual client's needs. The web application is designed to fit client's individual processes whilst benefiting from a common core application framework. Our client are looking for a Senior developer to be responsible for a re-write of the entire current application. This role reports into the Director of IT.
Essential Skills:
- We are looking for someone with 5 years commercial experience in a development environment
- C# 4.0
- MVC Version 3
- WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)
- Entry Framework Version 4 - Code First
- SQL Server 2008
- Source Control, conflict resolution, branching merging
- XML/XSLT
- IIS
- Test Driven Development
The following skills would be advantageous:
- Parallel Task Programming
- Codesmith
- Telerik KendoUI
- Mecurial
- Windows Azure
- HTML5 Offline Forms
- HTML5 based mobile device applications
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team on our Multi-Tenanted web application
- Be a major force behind an overhaul of the entire current application (this is an ever evolving application)
- You will need to be a self motivator, self starter with a 'can do' attitude.
- Extensive experience on design and analysis
- Show an aptitude in understanding system designs so that you can pick up what is required quickly and work from that understanding with minimal support
- Work well both individually and contribute to the team
- Work well in a distributed team environment
