This international consultancy is building a strong project team to start work on a large brownfields upgrade project. With a strong background in the minerals processing industry, this company has a strong reputation and has won the full EPCM contract. The scope of the project incorporates the full process plant which includes a large underground crusher, grinder and underground to overground conveyor system.
They are seeking a Lead Electrical Designer with proven experience in Australia's Mining and Resources sector to be a prominent member of the new project team. In this job you'll be responsible for the preparation, interpretation and checking of project drawings and documentations, liaising with suppliers, clients and engineers to ensure conformity with project specifications.
You will have excellent time management and design skills in line diagrams, schematics, termination diagrams, cable schedules and panel layouts will be exemplary in order to maintain high standards and keep within a time frame.
To be successful you will be an electrical designer with extensive exposure in mining, metals and minerals ensuring that you have a thorough knowledge of the relevant local and international standards. Your experience with AutoCAD will be highly regarded.
