Lead Front End App Engineer
Job Description
(This is initially a Contract role, with Contact-to-Hire being our desired end-result).
Applicants must possess a strong all around proficiency in iOS 5 and 6, as well as hands-on experience working with iOS 7 Betas thus far for both iPhone and iPad, AND/OR Java proficiency for a range of smartphone devices and operating systems (eg. 2.2-4.3). HTML5 proficiency is required.
You’ll be contributing to a variety of client accounts and projects, with functionality ranging from barcode scanners to payment gateway integrations, REST APIs, gamification engines, deep social media integrations and more.
Additionally, you should demonstrate a strong understanding of how to implement UI/UX elements for maximum visual impact and user feedback. As a front-end expert, you’re also encouraged and expected to innovate on your own accord, as well as collaborate with our design team, to more effectively achieve the overall purpose of the given mobile product.
We practice the Agile development methodology, and believe that rapid, collaborative development and feedback are essential to a successful mobile product.
