Due to our success, and ongoing growth, we are in need of dynamic and energetic professional with a proven track record in marketing and communications management for the newly created role of Lead Generation Manger.

Job Description

The Lead Generation Manager is critical to expanding the demand generation and accelerating our sales and revenue growth. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and acute awareness of best practices and processes for lead management, with a proven track record of ensuring that qualified leads are delivered to the appropriate sales team and can tie corporate goals to a targeted ROI.  The candidate will also develop and maintain lead nurturing programs that are consistent with our overall awareness and conversion campaigns.

This position has primary ownership for the execution and analysis of direct marketing efforts, response rates, delivering campaigns on time and keeping campaigns within budget. This person also will work closely with Marketing and Sales on all aspects of planning and creation of future campaigns. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively manage multiple programs including timelines, budgets and working with appropriate vendors, have the ability to strategize  on creative and messaging and also have strong analytical skills to measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness.

 

Primary Responsibilities

·         Build lead generation campaigns and programs to support sales and elicit direct responses

·         Create email marketing and lead nurturing programs to build marketing database

·         Manage communications at every step in the lead funnel

·         Copy write all outbound communications and website content

·         Participate in online forums, twitter and LinkedIn discussions

·         Maintain and build a content system consisting of white papers, blog posts, case studies, research, best practice guides, FAQS, videos and industry trends

·         Drive website traffic and awareness through content, landing pages, email, advertising, events and SEM

·         Implement closed loop reporting system with KPIs

·         Recommend, optimize and report on programs utilizing Google Analytics, SM tools, SalesForce, Marketo and other 3rd party

·         Increases the pipeline by managing in-bound sales inquiries and executing outbound targeted calling campaigns.

 

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Personal Traits

Skills:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

·         An advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation, demand generation, and rules-based lead scoring and  nurturing;

·         Strong analytic capability with over 2 years of response analysis experience;

·         Experience with database management functions, including list management, cleansing, de-duplication, data validation, segmentation, tagging, custom report creation and import/export of CRM data;

·         Experience writing and presenting ROI-driven marketing campaign plans;

·         Superior communication and writing skills        

·         Experience with marketing automation software experience (Marketo a plus)

·         Knowledge of online advertising, and email best practices, CAN-SPAM compliance, email deliverability, email optimization, and cross-client compatibility 

·         Strong analytical and reasoning abilities    

·         Experience with a/b testing methodologies preferred        

·         Experience with Salesforce.com.

Qualifications:

You should have obtained:

·         5+ years marketing experience        

·         3+ years B2B email marketing and online advertising experience

·         3+ years of B2B demand generation experience

·         4 year undergraduate degree required; BA or BS in Marketing or Computer Science
