Position Description:
This position will offer you the opportunity to lead an IC engineering and design team engaged in design of distributed control systems, modifications to existing nuclear generation facilities, and plant controls betterment.
You will work on interesting and challenging assignments that include investigating, trouble-shooting, and solving a variety of IC engineering issues:
** As a team lead, you will coordinate the conceptual and detailed design phases for all aspects of IC engineering work and have accountability responsiblities for meeting project budget and schedule parameters.
** Prepare and review detailed calculations for digital controls applications.
** Prepare recorder replacement evaluation reports.
** Process instrumentation selection and specification.
** Review engineering work performed by others and provide guidance as a mentor in the development of less experienced engineers.

Qualifications:
BS or MS in Engineering and PE license.
This is a senior level position that requires at least 10 years of experience in the design of instrumentation and controls systems for electric power generation facilities.
Experience should include digital upgrade modifications for PLCs and controls systems and digital upgrade functional specifications.
Nuclear experience and 10CFR50.59 training is a plus.
Experience leading an engineering design team is also necessary.
