More about the role:

As an internal Audit team leader you will provide direction and feedback to the internal audit team on each of your assignments:

  1. Works closely with the Audit Manager to determine audit priorities and planning [10% of time]
  2. Leads individual internal audits: establishing relevant audit programs, supervising the auditors' work, drafting the final audit report, preparing for audit follow-up. Internal Audits can either be general, financial and/or operational audits. On occasion specific audits (construction projects, IS under development...) are also to be carried out [45% of time]
  3. Coordinates the review and release of audit reports: validation of Executive Committee presentations, of draft audit reports, of management action plans [30% of time]
  4. Contributes to the formulation, release and implementation of Company Policies Procedures for the functional areas entrusted to Internal Audit [15% of time]

The requirements:

You should be eligible to work in the EU - this company will not sponsor

You should have at least 7 years Audit experience

You should be big 4 or Top ten trained with at least 2 years Internal Audit Experience

You should have previous experience of working in developing countries, particularly Africa andLatin America.

You should be tri-lingual (English/French/Spanish or English/French/Portuguese)

You should have relevant sector experience (ideally in oil and gas, but mining, and other heavily industry experience will also be considered).
