Business Intelligence - Project Management
The Project Managers in the CoE will focus on execution of projects with significant impact to the overall organization. Some examples include integration of acquisitions, implementation of consolidated reporting projects across all SBEs, database migration, system upgrades, and delivery of new technologies. PMT projects may be identified and defined by the business or arise due to internal maintenance requirements. All projects will be placed on the waterline and implemented on a priority basis. The Project Managers are expected to run multiple projects consisting of internal and external resources as well as support ongoing solutions with new reporting requirements.
Primary location is Morristown, New Jersey, but will consider candidates in Colonial Heights, Virginia or Des Plaines, Chicago.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBLITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.):
- Manage projects, including status communications, costs, business cases, required appropriation requests, and resources.
- Help translate business requirements from IT Solution Leaders and/or Business Subject Matter Experts into technical solutions
- Plan / Manage co-source activities including monitoring of all development, testing, and conversion
- Perform Quality Assurance. Communicate with Customers on a regular basis to ensure consistency and quality delivery.
- Drive integrated, standardized, global solutions across PMT
- Follow the IT Project Management Office processes for all activities including Project Management
- Assist BI CoE Manager and Director of Enterprise Applications in planning BI related initiatives in STRAP and AOP.
- Evaluate new application software to further develop platform capabilities and meet customer requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: BS degree in Information Systems or technical field required, MBA a plus.
- Experience 7+ years experience in positions of increasing responsibility in business or information technology roles
- Experience implementing projects in SAP BW 7.x
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six Sigma Green Belt; Black belt training a plus
- Experience in implementing/training on Business Objects 3.5 or later preferred
- PMP certification preferred
- Broad experience in multiple modules of SAP ECC
- Extensive program/project management experience
- Strong problem solving skills; attentive to detail but able to see the large picture.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact well at all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
