IT Security Lead N/W Engineer position:
Following would be the job responsibilities of this position:
- Develop checklists of security requirements for all infrastructure elements and areas of technical work such as server buildouts, network installation, upgrades / patching, etc.
- Recommend enterprise-wide security standards and implement them
- Identify security validation and monitoring tools and implement associated methodologies to ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements
- Develop processes to monitor infrastructure security on a regular basis in order to detect deviation from standards in a timely manner
Required skills:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as the administrator of a major infrastructure component such as network or UNIX in an enterprise IT setting
- Work experience with the use or enforcement of security validation tools is required
- Intimate familiarity with a variety of infrastructure elements: UNIX, Windows, VMware, servers, network and storage
- 2+ years work experience with virtualized infrastructure (servers, storage) and VMware
- High level of comfort with enterprise IT processes especially in the area of compliance with technical standards
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to prioritize assigned tasks and will possess excellent communication skills. Must possess ability to work in cross-functional teams within a matrix reporting structure.
