Harrington Starr is working exclusively with a Foreign Exchange Trading Platform provider to find a Lead Java Developer that will join on building a new platform capable of competing on the highest level in terms of performance and speed for clients in the financial services sector, globally.
As the Java Developer you will join a team of 3 developers and 1 architect in an expanding team building a Foreign Exchange trading platform from scratch. You will take the lead role and use your previous experience of building highly scalable trading platforms to direct the team in its technology use and methodology. The team will be growing significantly with significant investment into technology and focus on ensuring the highest performance, you will be in a unique position to be a part of an exciting project from the outset.
Key requirements:
* 2-8 Trading Platform (Financial / Gaming) Development Experience (Essential)
* Low Level /Multi-threaded Programming Experience (Essential)
* Full project life cycle development experience (Beneficial)
* Java, J2SE, Ruby, Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, JTA, XML, HTML, CSS, GIT, TTD (Beneficial)
* Proactive, Leaderships Qualities, Self starter attitude (Required)
* Financial Market knowledge (Beneficial)
