Lead Java Developer/Architect
As our Development Software Lead/Architect of EV-Charging you work on continuously innovating the software solutions related to Electrical Vehicle charging. Some of the projects you will lead include: big data crunching, (energy) peak shaving, data visualisation, and smart charging. You can expect to work on a number of projects (some more secret than others) in this varied, multifaceted role, but will summarily be expected to:
- Ability to design, develop and deploy high-performance, and highly-scalable systems
- Technical lead of a small team of software engineers
- Autonomously take projects from vague design specs/prototypes or ideas to fully featured, production-ready applications that will be used by a wide range of users
- Own a large portion of our codebase, set up and own testing and build infrastructure
- Lead the development team, deliver robust thoroughly tested code from your team
- Work in an Agile software development environment with sprints and act as a Scrum Master
- Lead technical discussions regarding interfaces with embedded systems and innovative projects with business partners
- Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
- Be involved in recruiting initiatives
Main requirements
- Proven experience architecting heavily utilized, highly available modern web applications
- Proven experience with Cloud technologies from different vendors (Google, Amazon, Heroku)
- Experience with Agile practices and methodologies and experience in a Scrum Master role
- Experience with object-oriented programming, Java, JavaScript, J2EE
- Experience with web applications development (HTML5, CSS, Angular JS)
- Experience with build management, continuous integration (automated testing software deployment) and continuous delivery
- Focus on quality and clean coding
- You are self-motivated and have a strong sense of commitment
- New ideas come naturally to you and you are solution-oriented
- Ability to think outside the box, and form a holistic view of a particular IT eco-system
