Capco is a global business and technology consultancy, dedicated solely to the financial services industry. It has recently been positioned 27th in The Sunday Times ‘100 best companies to work for' annual list for 2012.

We are currently looking for a lead managing consultant within our Finance Transformation Team, working as part of the Finance, Risk Compliance Practice (FRC).  The FRC practice is undergoing a period of growth and there are exciting opportunities for the right candidate to play a key role in the development of the Finance practice in the UK.   

We are looking for somebody with a proven record of growing and developing a management consultancy practice as well as a strong delivery record within the Finance Transformation space.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of complex Finance Transformation projects on client site – responsible for leading teams made up of Capco and client employees at different levels.

• Working as a key member of the FRC team to grow and develop the UK team and the broader FRC Global group.

• Be able to demonstrate an understanding of how Finance Transformation issues related to regulatory change are impacting client business operations and work within the FRC team to develop commercial solutions.

• Developing,  leading and delivering new business development propositions for the FRC practice

• Sharing knowledge and insight with fellow FRC practitioners.

• Representing FRC to the wider Capco family of services.

Experience

• Prior experience working for a management consultancy.

• Proven record of success in both project delivery and business development for a management consultancy.

• Expertise within the Finance Transformation space in Banking or Capital Markets:

    -  Subject matter expertise in finance, accounting and management information processes.

    -  Design and implement process improvement through a formal methodology.

    - Provide advisory and design for financial reporting enhancements, in line with local, global regulatory reporting requirements.

• Strong knowledge of the regulatory space.

• Previous experience of successfully managing delivery teams.

• Strong academic background preferred.

• Accountancy qualifications are desirable e.g. ACCA, CIMA , ACA.

• Excellent communication skills - the ability to liaise with and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders.

• Project management and delivery excellence (including functional analysis, target operating model development and functional specifications).

 Additional Requirements

• 100% travel to client site may be required.
