We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Material Scientist to join our Science and Technology Center team, located in Carleton, Michigan.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Lead technology development in Advanced Glazing Project(s)
- Design, Develop and Integrate components to make high performance windows
- Develop new components in conjunction with key suppliers, lead Joint Development initiatives
- Define technical strategy for project team
- Develop and execute experimental project plan
- Define IP strategy for the project
- May supervise direct technical reports
Job Requirements:

- Experience in designing and developing relatively complex products that can be manufactured on a high-volume production line
- Success in developing new products that have been introduced into the marketplace
- Basic program management experience
- Vacuum technology expertise
- Technical breadth plus competence in analytical skills (math, statistics, RRCA, LEAN, 6-Sigma)

Our Science and Technology Center is located in Carleton, Michigan and this position does require relocation to the Southeastern Michigan area.
