Lead Mechanical Engineer - EPCM Minerals Processing
Simultaneously manage a small team, multiple projects and perform detailed design and on site commissioning for a circa $240M Copper plant upgrade - mineral processing plant and equipment.
Far from a one dimensional role, you will be involved with managing studies and ensuring these tenders turn into full cycle EPCM projects.
As a hands on lead (more technical involvement – collaborative approach) be directly involved in detail design calculations, approving/checking installation and process drawings, for complex concentrator plants.
This role includes client interfacing; ensuring that the plant mechanical design meets the process project to the stakeholder’s requirements. Of course you shall have knowledge of:
- Complex process plant components: SAG Ball Mills – crushers, screens, conveyors – full plant layout.
- Australian and Study / Project specific Codes and Standards
- Full interfacing with a Process team – full wet plant experience is essential.
- Chartered Engineers Status – RPQ Eng
- Extensive process plant design knowledge application of – wet plant conveyors, chutes, transfers pumping/piping knowledge.
- Up to 12%bonuses
- Paid overtime (project approved)
- Promotion plans in process from day one (mentoring, training and development = progression to the next level)
With a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and at least 12 years EPCM Mining design experience.
