Lead MRI Technologist coordinates and oversees daily technical operations of department under direction of Imaging Director or designee and performs various MRI diagnostic imaging and/or interventional procedures, preparations and ability to administer of contrast material, in accordance to hospital/departmental policies, procedures, QA/QI control procedures, and other ancillary job duties with the goal of providing the highest quality of appropriate imaging services possible to Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patients in the most efficient and cost effective manner, demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of patient served by the Imaging Services Department. The goal is to provide delivery of these services in a timely, courteous effective matter in accordance with federal and local regulations within the institutions polices and procedures.
Successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with any GE MRI unit platform:HD, HDXT, 450W, 750. Must be ARRT licensed (R) (MR) NYSDOH with current BLS and/or injection Certification.
