Lead Operator Superior Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of Unit Corporation, is seeking a qualified Lead Operator to join their growing team in Canadian, TX. Responsibilities: 8 Execute startup, shut down and operating procedures for compressors, furnaces, distillation towers, expanders, electric motors, fans, pumps, instrumentation, valves and alarms. 8 Analyze flow streams using a gas chromatograph and make necessary process adjustments to maintain product specifications. 8Perform minor maintenance of compressors, engines, pumps, controls, piping and valves. 8 Generate daily production reports including liquid production, downtime and gas volume. 8 Lead and assign other Operators and Contractors; maintain good communication with Supervisor, field, plant and maintenance employees and contractors. 8Work rotating shifts and take callouts. 8 Monitor, maintain, and operate safety and fire protection systems. 8Perform various housekeeping duties as required. Qualifications: 8 High School diploma or equivalent. 8 Minimum 1 year gas processing plant operations experience. 8Working knowledge of the oil and gas industry 8 Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 8Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment. 8Basic computer skills, including office software applications. 8 Must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle. 8Ability to work irregular hours, outside, and around heavy equipment; work in variable environmental conditions. 8 Ability to work in a safe manner following all safety practices, procedures and policies. 8Ability to work a in a shift position requiring rotation in weekend, evening and holiday work.
