Lead OTC CTM Analyst
This position will be responsible for managing customer and partnership impact analysis for OTC projects and all related external technical communication and documentation. Act as the customer advocate and representative internally to deliver high-quality enhancements that meet the business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain expertise in OTC customer facing API's, systems and GUI use expertise
- Develop, maintain and enforce SLAs for customer-facing changes
- Analyze project documentation (business requirements, systems analysis and specifications) to identify functionality changes and gaps, customer impacts and risks
- Work with project managers and other subject matter experts to find optimal solutions for customers
- Analyze project change requests for customer systems impacts and risks
- Provide technical writers with content for customer impact documentation and Software Development Kits
- Provide communications resource with content and information for notices and web site updates
- Define project external communication plan and customer-facing milestones
- Train CME Group customer-facing teams on changes and associated customer impacts in OTC projects
- Be a key member of the team which communicates OTC-related changes to customers through weekly notices, website content and technical documentation.
- Act as advocate for customers throughout project lifecycles, including engaging with senior business and technical owners.
Requirements
- 3 plus years of experience with OTC technology solutions
- 3 plus years of technical or business analysis in a technical environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work with a variety of cross functional teams on multifaceted projects
- Ability to translate technology into clear business language and business requirements into technology solutions
- Experience working with international partners – ability to adapt to and understand different business cultures
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously as well as operational responsibilities.
- Strong Interpersonal skills - to be successful in this role it will be necessary to build and maintain productive internal and external relationships.
Preferred
- Knowledge of / experience with financial markets and OTC trading behavior (especially derivatives)
- FIX, WebServices and FIXML experience
- May require some evening and Saturday hours for international calls and mock trading/testing sessions.
