Lead Post-Trade Architect recruitment
We are looking for an experienced software engineer to lead the design and development of our Post-Trade platform. The Lead post-trade developer will be responsible for the firm's accounting, clearing and business systems. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in trading technology and will possess a familiarity with trading, clearance and settlement and accounting. Management experience preferred.
The Skills:
• Solid C++ programming skills with a thorough understanding of the language (STL, network programming necessary, but no graphics required)
• Expertise with UNIX operating systems (we use FreeBSD), perl, shell scripting, SQL, network protocols and file systems
The Profile:
• BS / MS in Computer Science or related field from top institutions
• Ability to debug and analyze problems quickly and effectively
• Ability to work independently, but still be a team player
• Ability to project manage and work in a team environment
