Lead Press Operator – 1st shift
Spectrum Plastics Group is a growing contract manufacturer of plastic injection molding products. We are currently looking for a Lead Press Operator for our 1st shift.
Key Responsibilities:
v Assign all work, both planned and emergency jobs
v Instruct operator how to run machine properly and safely
v Work with Quality Control in determining appropriate process to be performed
v Train employees for procedural compliance
v Inspect parts and provide operators interim approval
v Move parts within the plant as needed
v Make suggestions to improve processes
v Complete shift reports
v Operate injection molding machines/provide breaks as needed
v Order supplies needed for the department
v Provide support to Production Supervisor when performing reviews, interviewing for new hires, etc.
