Responsible for all execution control mechanisms. Direct day-to-day operations of development effort and make program decisions with Program Manager. Own the Integrated Program Plan and work with PL engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure closure of all actions. Drive program execution per the cross-functional integration plan. Make daily execution decisions and drive operating mechanisms. Responsible for program review and team communications. Complete Milestone reviews, and populate and manage product Design History File (DHF). Integrate Lean/Six Sigma activities/deliverables into program plans and execution control. Develop and communicate program integration strategy. Assemble and drive the integrated program schedule. Identify problems with ongoing activities through the core team and facilitate problem-solving process. See all work through the project plan and GEHC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor program progress, anticipate effects of dependencies and risks to program schedule. Report the internal status of the program at Execution control mtgs. Maintain efficiency of all scheduled program meetings. Drive closure of development and System Problem Reports. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field is required. Seven years of progressively responsible post-Bachelors experience as a Lead Program Integrator, Software Engineer, Engineering Leader, or a related occupation is acceptable. Seven years of experience must include some experience with J2EE and C++; Clearcase, Clearquest and Quality Center; software development; product development in complex software systems; project management; and cross-functional team leadership.
