The Role
• Responsible for insuring software quality in order to reduce production defect
• Definition and maintenance of complex test plans
• Manual software testing (20%)
• Implementation and maintenance of a full testing automation framework (60%)
• Help on defect identification and resolution
• Work with IT Director and Lead Developers in order to automate other areas of the business
• Reporting to IT Director
The Candidate
• Must have experience with test strategies, test plan definition and execution
• Must understand challenges of testing automation
• Ideally within a testing role for 3 to 5 years
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Able to challenge the status quo and come up with new solutions
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of databases and using SQL
• Willing to work the hours of the trading environment and be an integral part of the trading team.
• Experience in a Financial Institution is desirable, and we expect the candidate to have a keen interest in developing their career in a trading environment.

Total compensation includes a basic salary of £35-40K plus a discretionary performance-based bonus. A bonus of 50% of salary is achievable for high performers.
