MAPFRE Insurance/Commerce Insurance currently has an opening for a Lead, Remittance Services Representative to join the Remittance Services department in the Webster, MA location.
The Lead Remittance Services Representative assists with the responsibilities of the efficient and effective operations of the Remittance Services Department and acts as back-up to the Supervisor. Ensures payments of all types, deposits, and other date-sensitive information are entered and edited via our computer system daily. Supervises, monitors, and evaluates a partial staff of Remittance personnel. Communicates with numerous members of the Company, agents, and insureds to resolve and monitor problematic issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Associates Degree or specialized knowledge plus 1-3 years of equivalent related experience, or High School equivalent plus 3 - 5 years. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment while leading a team of individuals. Proven analytical skills. Strong PC navigation skills. Previous experience with or understanding of remittance processing equipment.
