Lead Software Engineer
Direct hire position with our Tier I automotive client:
Lead Software Engineer - VR/Speech
Provide technical direction to the VR software integration team.
Lead the VR requirements analysis and design efforts for the future infotainment projects.
Design new VR software architecture and interface design for the scalable infotainment software platform as needed for new project features and requirements.
Analyze existing embedded software to add features, make modifications, fix bugs, and/or port to different platforms.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
Experience: 5+ years minimum related experience.
Experience with integrating Voice Recognition (VR) software solutions into embedded and infotainment systems.
Very familiar with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Expert in C/C++ programming language.
Excellent communication skills and experience as a customer interface.
Experience working with Nuance ASR and TTS engine.
Works with VR/TTS engine supplier in analyzing requirements and developing interfaces to other modules.
Works with the internal VR team to develop, test and debug the VR system.
Familiar with advanced VR concepts such as Natural Language Understanding, speech enabling of downloadable applications and off-board recognition.
