Team Overview
Working within the Portfolio Service Data Services Team in Asia Pacific, supporting pan-APAC clients business administered in the Singapore Operational hub.
- Perform a senior role in coaching junior team members and assist the team leader as a checker function.
- Maintenance of market data such as reference rates, prices, foreign exchange rates and tics, etc
- Creation and maintenance of instruments, Parties, Client Portfolio Data in various systems such as Charles River, ESM, ePACE , IRIS, SCD and Satellite Applications
Essential Skills
Appreciate and fulfil the needs of the business for creation and maintenance of all static data, which includes but not limited to:
Instruments
Client Portfolio
Public/Bank Holidays
Country and Currency
Tax Rates
Fulfil the role required of the Local Pricing Unit in accordance to APAC pricing policy. Duties include but not limited to:
Maintenance of market data such as prices, IFRS price levels, references rates, retail price indices, foreign exchange rates and tics, etc
Validation of prices between two sources.
Investigate when price movements exceed established day to day tolerance and when prices are stale for 5 days or more.
Gather information and proposed methodology to Local Pricing Committee for difficult to priced instruments
Monitor market movements and news during exchange holidays to proposed market adjustments
