Lead Systems Analyst recruitment

Job Description
This individual will be responsible for working with the global office investment personnel to analyze and document reporting, systems and data requirements. Responsibilities will include project management; requirements collection and documentation; interfacing with the development team during design, development and testing; documenting test plans and test results; testing; and, providing users with support and training for deployed products.
Responsibilities
• Global support of Fixed Income applications for investment personnel at all levels. Cross department interaction for resolutions.
• Interact with global office investment professionals at all levels of the organization to proactively identify opportunities for new/improved systems
• Collect, document and facilitate implementation of systems requirements
• Perform data gap analysis and oversee remediation efforts through to completion
• Plan and manage implementation/integration
• Assist with testing and deployment of new reports, data and systems
• Provide user support including training, relationship management, issue tracking and status reporting. Work with users to prioritize needs
• Provide production support for batch processes.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income and derivative securities, analytics and market data services.
• Experience in a systems role supporting investment professionals
• Strong Microsoft Office application expertise, in particular with Excel and the creation/maintenance of Excel VBA macros
• Demonstrated experience in project management and business analysis for small to medium initiatives
• Demonstrated experience in formal requirements collection methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment
• A CFA or demonstrated progress toward a CFA would be considered a plus
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Oracle/SQL, PL/SQL, VBA, Perl, or Java considered a plus
• Bachelor's degree required
