We have a Plant Maintenance Technician position open currently.
Maintains and repairs the facility’s structure, equipment, and grounds.
Performs skilled trades work, such as carpentry painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structure such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building plumbing and wiring required in the production process.
Makes periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary.
Works from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches to perform duties.
Must be able to do physical work including heavy lifting, pushing or pulling, and climb ladders.
Has substantial understanding of the job, and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways.
Ability to operate machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
Ability to accurately fabricate material with close attention to detail is required.
Will be required to achieve certifications of various job related functions.
H.S. diploma, or it’s equivalent.
Additional specialized training equal to two years of college or technical school.
Four to Six years of related experience.
