Position Summary
As a Technical Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise by facilitating product related courses for the top-of-the-line products in the industry. You will have lead training with our customers, both in house and on-site. You will also works in a team environment to with other experts and curriculum developers in order to develop world class training sequences for the entire product line. You may also initiate training for new program development. The opportunity to travel may be involved. This position will be based in Dallas.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach product related classes in-house and at customer sites.
  • Develop course materials and laboratory exercises for new classes by collaborating with a curriculum development team. Upgrade course materials to reflect product enhancements.
  • Design training sequences for the entire product line.
  • Interface with Graphic Arts, Engineering, and other departments.
  • Prepare customized training for technical courses
  • As technical training representative in customer meetings, provides presentations, technical expertise.
  • Create and coordinate the development of training and instructional programs/systems.
  • Act as an instructor/facilitator.
  • Coordinate the production and delivery of contract deliverables.
  • Revise and/or coordinate the revision of developed training and instructional programs/systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

    Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field plus five years directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in training or related fields; supervisory or task/project leader experience preferred. State-of-the-art in instructional technology. Understanding of current engineering practices.
  • This is a great opportunity for someone wity experience in the repair of complex mechanical machinery and/or training of the repair of such complex equipment! You will be teaching our customers how to service our equipment including the complete electrical system, mechanical systems and engines.
