Chesterfield County Public Schools is recruiting for the following vacancies: Lead Technology Support Analyst Position # 812GF32001 Position is responsible for the daily operation of the division's Technical Support Center to include hardware and software asset accountability as well as hardware, software and network equipment technical support. Qualifications include considerable knowledge of current Windows operating systems and computer hardware and peripherals, as well as the ability to systematically troubleshoot problems. Considerable knowledge of help desk software, computer hardware troubleshooting and repair and network equipment operation is needed. The demonstrated ability to work within and follow established guidelines and procedures; work independently with minimal supervision; establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the school division; and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, is required. Bachelor's degree related to assignment and certifications in A+, Network +, Microsoft, and Apple are preferred. Position closes November 28, 2011. Microcomputer Analyst Sr. Position #73660 Position is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to schools and departments in the selection, installation and operation of computer hardware and software. Qualifications include considerable knowledge of workstation hardware, software and operating systems and a variety of applications software. Demonstrated ability in analyzing and resolving hardware and software problems related to compatibility and configuration issues; installing hardware and software; conducting upgrades and performing backups is required.
