Make a Difference Lead Training Specialist Yakima Training Center, Washington (Position duration is from April to Sept 2012) Parsons offers the U.S. Government qualified and clearable personnel to solve engineering, construction, facility, intelligence, environmental, and information technology needs. Our staff has supported mission critical, homeland security, installation/base optimization, range sustainability, space exploration, unexploded ordnance clean-up, missile defense, and disaster relief programs. Responsibilities include: *Interface with mission commander and home station training lane IEDD-Observer Controller / Trainers regarding training of the units, development and execution of scripts during rotations, pre-rotational briefings, and after-action meetings and reports. *Provide in-depth assessments, oral and written, of unit performance and present feedback to the unit using the After Action Review process at the completion of the exercise. Provide direction, advice, counsel, and assistance to any OPFOR or COB personnel that augment the live training experience. *Prepare, update and teach the use of Improvised Explosive Devices-Defeat (IED-D) training aids, devices and simulators. *Attend necessary meetings and conferences to maintain awareness of current theater issues, IEDD capabilities, and new IEDD devices and training aids.
