Lead Unit Supply Technician Job in Memphis 38112, Tennessee US
Delegates and explains assignments to the Warehouseman and provides the necessary assistance to complete assigned tasks.
Provides expertise in meeting production standards and schedules.
Receives and checks incoming materials and equipment for accuracy of invoices, bills of loading and requisitions; reports all discrepancies in supplies and materials to appropriate supervisor.
Loads, unloads and arranges stock; loads stock onto pallets for storage or transportation as necessary.
Ensures the safe and proper loading of trucks and forklifts.
Operates and maintains trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment; inspects equipment to ensure proper working condition and safety.
Performs related clerical duties as necessary, including entering and retrieving computer data, copying and filing documents, answering the telephone, receiving and responding to e-mails and faxes.
Requires two (2) years of supervisory or lead worker experience.
Requires a valid state driver's license.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Works 40 (forty) hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Term of employment is 12 (twelve) months per year.
