Leading Investment Management Firm Seek Senior Level Valuation Analyst | Tri-State Area | $115,000 + Bonus + Benefits
This global investment management firm is looking to open its doors to a talented Valuations Analyst with strong knowledge of either Equity/Commoditiy/FX/Interest Rate products.
They are offering the opportunity to provide cutting edge training to the candidate in order to fast-track them to senior managerial hires.
The candidate will be joining one of the internationally leading Price Verification Groups (PVG) which is responsible for providing independent verification as to the accuracy of the mark to market values for all Equity/FX/Rate products globally. The main groups are located in London, New York and Asia, and all three locations are expanding rapidly, and due to the strong links between locations, will be opportunities to re-locate/travel.
Responsibilities:
-Work on the monthly price testing and analysis of FX/Rates/Equity linked products.
-The role will involve using existing proprietary pricing tools and independent market data sourced from either Brokers as well as data vendors like Reuters and Bloomberg.
-Will be learning a wide range of information on the three products highlighted above, but will only necessarily need to know about one of them prior to joining.
Requirements:
- Strong academic credentials, ideally a Masters level degree or higher in a highly quantitative subject like Maths or Physics or Quantitative Finance or equivalent.
-Previous product experience with either EQ/FX/Rates obtained in a Bank in the areas of Price Verification, Quantitative Research, Market Risk Management or Trading.
-A good knowledge of Excel is crucial.
