Lead/Senior Director C++ Developer – Algorithmic Trading -Equities Low Latency/Market Making; recruitment
My client is a Leading US Investment Bank, with a small, focused yet very successful Equities Algorithmic Trading Team in New York. The team is currently home to 6 technologists and through continued profits the team is seeking to hire a senior VP/Director C++ developer to take a key role in the growth plans for 2012 and a number of new business critical projects. You will report to the Global Head of Algorithmic Trading, who himself is based in NY and you will sit in a front office team. You will be a very senior member of the team and be expected to take the lead on both an ad hoc and long term basis. The team is looking to re-write and redesign a number of their systems/platforms this year thus there will be a great amount of time working with the business to gather requirements/understand their products as well as a significant amount of cutting edge design, architecture and development – largely in C++/STL/Boost. The ideal candidate will need a background in a real-time trading systems and a strong understanding of the front office. Experience within algorithmic trading space is a must.

Design and develop low latency trading infrastructure
• Design and implement pricing engine
• Work directly alongside senior traders
• Research and design quoting model
• Develop strategy logic
• Enhance trading execution engine
