Lean Business Analyst recruitment

The Lean workstream is a key component of the Group led Finance Transformation programme which aims to re-engineer Finance business processes, technology and people. The objective of Lean is to:
Simplify and remove complexity from Finance processes and ways of working
Release capacity to enable line teams to focus on value add activities
Create a sustainable Lean capability within Finance both in the line and change communities.
Each Lean Project t is made up of a core change team including Lean Business analysts and Lean Project managers who work with line resources to review and reengineer their business processes.

Role Overview
The Lean Change Business Analyst plays a key role in the lean team and supports the transformational change along end-to-end Finance business processes to deliver improved customer experience, increased productivity efficiency as well as improved staff engagement and risk control.
The role directly contributes to the team's ability to deliver a successful implementation of the holistic Lean approach working in close collaboration with line management and staff, driving diagnostic, design and implementation of sustainable improvements in five key areas (5 Lenses):

Voice of Customer
Process Efficiency
Performance Management
Skills Organisation
Mindsets and Behaviours

This role differs from traditional project delivery in terms of the intensity, focus, dedication and level of technical expertise and its parallel focus on developing lean management systems, lean thinking and lean culture. A key deliverable of this role is the transfer of lean knowledge and lean capability build to the business.
Experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Clear and concise documentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Prior experience of process re-design and improvement by delivering project or change initiatives within an Investment Banking or Insurance environment
Technical understanding and experience of Lean deployment /Lean Six-Sigma/ Six Sigma techniques and their application preferably within a Finance environment
Able to work in a team environment and independently manage own workload
Feel comfortable in working in project execution environment with tight deadlines
