Job Description Job Classification: Contract Responsibilities include: - Coaching to the business teams to develop their Lean capability. A key deliverable of this role is the transfer of knowledge and capability to the Finance teams to develop an on-going culture of continuous improvement. - Directly contributes to the team's ability to deliver successful implementation of the holistic RBS Lean approach working in close collaboration with line management and staff, driving diagnostic, design and implementation of sustainable improvements in five key areas: - Voice of Customer Process Efficiency Performance Management Skills Organization Mindsets and Behaviors The role will be primarily engaged in the following activities: - Responsible for implementing a clear definition of scope and deliverables to agreed quality and time scales. - Ensure anticipated program benefits are generated Provide input and advice on strategy for Lean within Finance - Carry out analysis using appropriate diagnostic techniques to identify key opportunities within finance areas - Work with Lean Finance Director and local teams to develop local deployment plans - Facilitate design sessions with the business Support Lean implementation in Finance teams against agreed objectives - Coach Finance Managers and their teams to develop their understanding and practical application of Lean Performance Management - Contribute to Lean training programs to support Lean implementation and knowledge transfer - Deputize for Finance Director - Lean, where appropriate Identify, evaluate and track progress of program deliverables, escalating them appropriately with suggested mitigating actions and implement as directed Identify, capture and appropriately escalate risks and issues.
