Posted Position Title: Lean Leader Career Level: Experienced Function Quality Function Segment: Lean Six Sigma Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Texas City: Deer Park Postal Code: 77536-6557 Relocation Assistance Yes Role Summary/Purpose: The Lean Leader / Black Belt lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in a specialized field. In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional areas area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Essential Responsibilities - Provide overall Lean Six Sigma leadership for assigned business unit - Partner with leaders to define and execute business Y strategy - Provide leadership and direction to Black Belts and lean resources in executing the Lean Six Sigma strategy for breakthrough levels of improvement in customer satisfaction, process capability and quality - Work with quality champion(s) and other operating leaders to develop project deployment strategy, goals and priorities - Serve as change agent by stimulating, communicating and institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma initiatives - Teach, train, coach and mentor Black Belts in the use of Lean Six Sigma methodology - Following completion of a rigorous training program, serve as an expert resource to the business on Lean Six Sigma philosophy, theory, and application tools/tactics - Improve customer satisfaction and reduce process variation through application of Lean Six Sigma tools and tactics - Develop strategy and deploy Lean Six Sigma tools and tactics - Conduct regular project reviews with assigned Black Belts to assure accomplishment of key results - Communicate progress, status and issues to Champions and business leaders - Educate and coach others on Lean Six Sigma philosophy and application - Seek, share and institutionalize best practices Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college - At least 5 additional years of experience in Quality System Planning and Quality Improvement methods Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
