Lean Manager Zurich Job in Zurich, Zürich Switzerland
- Responsible for establishing LEAN practices and tool box on the Dubendorf shop floor
- Directly accountable for savings identification and tool box training on the shop floor
- Member of Zuerich crossfunctioal lean team and supports Head Operations ZH in achieving cultural change
from today’s continuous improvement process to LEAN
- Implement the Operations Excellence program in Duebendorf covering
- Savings identification, capturing and respective KPI tracking
- Implementation of LEAN toolbox
- Conception and implementation of trainings and workshops
- Ensure full implementation of LEAN management methods
- Share best practices
- Create an environment for high performance through sound leadership
- Train departmental heads, supervisors and operators on LEAN concept and toolbox
- Challenge existing processes/practices and initiate change
- Passion for success with a high energy level
- Strong leadership skills, diplomacy, cooperation, and persuasion

- University degree in food/chemical/science/engineering or economics with 5 years related experience of which
min. 3 in a lean project or similar educational level compensated by additional practical experience - Fluent in German and English, other languages would be an asset
- Strong knowledge of lean methodology
- Green or black belt as would be an asset
- Sound business acumen
- Training experience with operators, shift leaders and departmental managers
- People skills in leading teams, communication and change management
- Maturity in working with and influencing people at all levels
