Lean Manufacturing Site Facilitator–Louisiana, MO Job in Missouri Us

Essential Functions:

Zero Harm: Ensure compliance with applicable HSE Performance Standards, objectives and as well as acts, and regulations and the commitment to achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety leadership.

Subject Matter Expert and Coach: Engage key stakeholders through providing information, education and coaching on Business Excellence content, implementation approach, tools and standards.  (Business Excellence knowledge acquired through initial training for facilitators).

Teamwork: Vigorously participate as an active member of the Business Excellence Site Steering Committee and Site Management Team (if applicable). Coach on implementation actions proactively communicating between the various stakeholders to effect a smooth implementation.

Liaise closely with and seek support and guidance from the Business Excellence Master Facilitator

Manage Site Trainers and coordinate with Area Business Excellence Facilitators on delivery schedule, where appropriate. 

Be a model for the mindsets and behaviors necessary to create an environment of trust, participation and accountability.

Change Management: Work closely with Site Trainers, Area Business Excellence Facilitators, HR Business Partner and other key stakeholders to consistently drive change through a focus on continuous improvement. 

Communication: Provide internal Business Excellence communication support for the site key stakeholders, particularly in relation to key messaging, language and tone appropriateness and communication method/tools.

Prepare reports and communicate updates as required on Business Excellence deployment status, progress and outcomes using nominated Company business systems.

Decision Making Authority:

Make recommendations to Business Excellence Site Steering Committee on deployment approach and activities to achieve optimal outcome/result

Provide feedback/advice on the maintenance of standards/setting of KPIs and where further opportunities for improvement may exist

Major Challenges:

Getting active buy-in and securing ongoing commitment to the Business Excellence program

Influencing key decision makers throughout implementation

Getting buy-in from cross functional areas at site(s)

Ensuring compliance to changed processes/practices and standards
