Position Description Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives. Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers. The candidate will work as part of a dynamic process improvement team where varied viewpoints and experiences are encouraged. Major responsibilities include instructing / mentoring others in continuous improvement tools and principles and leading / facilitating / coaching process improvement efforts such as Accelerated Improvement Workshops (AIW), Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Team Based Business Initiatives (TBBI). Support advanced continuous improvement tool application and identifies risks / opportunities for improvement. Tailors message to specific audiences. Assists with instruction in improvement tools and principles. Assists with teaching basic LEAN modules. Supports process improvement. Gathers data and information. Other Job related information Prefer knowledge and experience in Employee Involvement, Leading Performance Indicators, Data Analysis, Project Management and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Standards.
