Tranter, Inc. is currently searching for a Lean Sigma Manager
Tranter, Inc. will pay for relocation to Wichita Falls, TX.
Job Summary:
To lead the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of a sustainable Lean Management approach. Tranter, Inc. is committed to developing a sustainable continuous improvement culture using Lean principles. The successful development of this culture will enhance work processes and output, while delivering significant cost savings, improved customer service, quality and safety for the company.
Experience:
· Educate and coach others on Lean Sigma philosophy, theory application and tools
· Drive Lean training and implementation of a Lean toolkit to include: Value stream management, lean diagnosis/strategy and objective setting, Kanban, SMED, team problem solving, Kaizen and 5S initiatives.
· Implement and support lean metric visual indicators to support line efficiencies.
· Conducts internal lean manufacturing assessments and develops improvement plans from Assessments and tactics.
· Improves customer service satisfaction and reduce waste through application of Lean Six Sigma
· Endures controls and metrics are in place and sustained to monitor progress of the facilities continuous improvement initiatives.
· Communicate progress, status and issues to employees.
Education:
· B.S in business related field
Experience:
· Minimum of three to five years in Lean implementation

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred Skills:
· Internal manufacturing and major business processes
· Significant change management experience
· Industrial plant maintenance techniques and procedures, preferably in relation to plate type heat exchangers
· Previous experience in heat exchanger service related business
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to walk around the plant and office areas
· Must be able to travel up to 25% of the year
