Learning & Development Manager, Tokyo recruitment
Our client is a leading financial services organization who are looking for an up and coming Learning Development expert to straddle 2 main functions: LD and Graduate Development.
• Tokyo based
• Overseas reporting line
• Full business exposure
With a dual reporting line to the Head of HR for Japan and regionally to the Head of Graduate Development for Asia Pacific you will be asked to work across both Learning and Graduate Development. On the graduate side you run the Analyst and Associate programmes for Japan while also having to work with HR for all LD needs in country. You will be required to do a small amount of delivery, however the bulk of the position will be geared towards the strategic value that you can add to the business.
We are ideally looking for a strong Learning Development expert who is comfortable working at all levels. The role would be ideal for a candidate who is either looking to broaden their LD experience or even look to move into the area from a more generalist focused role. Due to the location of the position we do require this candidate to speak both English and Japanese fluently. In addition to this we are also looking for the following:
• Degree education
• An understanding of Learning Development
• An ability to work with all areas of a business
• Strong knowledge of Japan
