Purpose of Role:
This role combines LD and Talent Management Consultancy with the LD element being the primary focus. The LD/TM Consultant works in partnership with the HRBPs and Business Unit Leadership teams to maximize business success through the effective design and implementation of learning strategies and plans which support the achievement of strategic business plan objectives and the delivery of a high performance commercial culture. 

Based in Munich or Frankfurt.

Specific Duties: LD
•Is accountable for developing and implementing the Learning Strategy, plans and solutions which are fully aligned with the delivery of key business outcomes.  In doing so will engage with key business stakeholders and preferred vendor network to gain input and support
•Actively participates in the design, development and facilitation of Global Management Development programmes
•Provides consultancy through the application of in-depth specialist expertise to specify outcomes and measures for Learning.
•Is accountable for working collaboratively with other Learning Development consultants and colleagues to ensure a coherent and global approach to learning and development
•Relationships with key stakeholders are proactively planned and managed in order to facilitate strong and productive working relationships build on trust
•Ensures that the learning components of new business integrations and other OD activities and change management are effectively identified, planned and implemented, with the full engagement of key business stakeholders
•As an LD Subject Matter Expert:
   - Advises business stakeholders and HRBPs on appropriate learning solutions through making recommendations and brokering solutions that help embed State Street’s culture and take into account business needs
   - Analyses, designs, develops and delivers learning sessions and programmes to meet identified needs
• Mentor and support less experienced consultants

Specific Duties: Talent Management
•Consult with HRBPs and Business Leaders to understand and support their Talent Management needs
•Support change management initiatives
•Support mergers, acquisition activity implementing the Talent Management framework and working with TM Consultants across the region
•Support HRBPs to prepare business leaders for TR meetings; ensuring rigor in calibration, succession and development discussions
•Co-facilitate meetings with HRBPs at VP/SVP/EVP level; ensuring quality talent decisions are reached and owned by business leads
•Drive and track ongoing implementation of talent decisions in business lines in partnership with HRBPs throughout the year
•Collaborate with global Talent Management team to ensure application of processes across the business
•Support executive development, as appropriate
•Ensure the key stakeholders understand and can apply Talent Management practice to their business area to ensure solid succession planning and accelerated development for key and emerging talent
•Work with HRBPs and Business Leaders to implement appropriate development for key and emerging talent e.g. 360 feedback, executive coaching etc…

Work Parameters:
Work as part of the EMEA and Global Learning Development function with specific responsibility for European location/s

Previous Level of Experience:
• Solid experience in Learning and Development and a proven track record in facilitation/training delivery up to Middle Management Levels e.g. Vice President.
• Degree level qualification or equivalent and/or relevant Training/Learning Development qualification e.g. Certificate in Training Practice - CIPD
• CIPD or equivalent membership
• Fluent German English speaker with other European languages being desireable
