Learning Manager recruitment

Scope of Role:

Learning Consumer banking plays a key role in implementing the learning and development strategy to help drive the rapid business growth in China.

The Learning Manager is a subject matter expertise in consumer bank / operations/ various functions expertise. They will add value by implementing the CADDIE model in assuring training solutions fit and add value to the business needs with high quality. In normal circumstances, they will have a minimum of 60% of their time in class-room training.

Key Responsibilities/Challenges:

1. Assist Senior Learning Manager in identifying training needs, and using cutting edge adult learning techniques and methodology to achieve desired people development results

2. Work with Group Programme manager in customizing appropriate curriculum and learning solutions that meet business needs in China

3. Design learning solutions with local applicability to meet local business needs and where applicable, offer suggestions utilizing various media of delivery

4. Deliver Group learning curriculum with localization according to learning framework across business and functions

5. Actively take part in evaluation of training effectiveness to continually improve the quality of LCBA service.

6. Develop and implement post course consulting and coaching solutions to maximize transfer of learning to the business

7. Keep abreast of external market trends as well as internal business developments to stimulate discussion with learning participants

Selection Criteria:

1. University graduate with at least 5 years of solid experience in Consumer Banking with exposure in China market a definite advantage

2. A passion for learning and people development, enjoys creating new solutions to meet changing demands and with a continued drive to raise the bar

3. Good influencing skills, with the ability to consult, analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate the training intervention end to end

3. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

4. Highly observant to group dynamics with strong facilitation and coaching skills

5. Experience in training delivery and designing training content is preferred

6. Good command of Chinese and English

7. Able to deliver courses in Mandarin
