LED Lighting Specification Specialist Job in Fremont 94536, California US
TriNet has been engaged by our client to source, interview, qualify and present top talent for their LED Lighting Specification Specialist position based in Fremont, CA.
This person’s primary responsibility will be to provide presales LED lighting selection and specification expertise to customers, lighting designers, channel partners, and the client’s sales team. This position requires 40-60% travel and the ability to participate in international customer conference calls outside of standard work hours. Additionally, you will communicate with architects, lighting designers, sales agents, distributors, electrical contractors, general contractors, facilities managers and end users to thoroughly assess fixture related project requirements and communicate selections to various colleagues.
Required:
- LED lighting expertise.
- Architecture or Engineering degree.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Visual, Photoshop, SPOT, Dialux, AGI.
- Knowledge of lighting controls including the application of related products and technology.
- Solid understanding of National Electric Code (NEC) with respect to lighting.
- Experience with low voltage networks a plus.
- Must have reliable vehicle for local/Bay Area sales support calls.
- Experience with light level calculations, lighting design and layout software.
- Minimum 5 years work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate ideas, verbally and written, to internal and external customers.
- Professional affiliation such as IESNA (or ability to qualify).
