Legal Administrative Assistant
Summary:
Great opportunity to join a well-respected Southeastern regional boutique law firm concentrating [BW1] in the technology and life sciences sectors. Our ideal candidate will have 10+ years of legal administrative experience coordinating for multiple attorneys, strong computer and communication skills and a high degree of professionalism.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
-- Schedule management and planning including calendar management, contact information, appointment scheduling, meeting coordination for assigned members of the firm.
-- Assist with time record keeping and entry
-- Online client research and updates as needed to support attorney activities
-- Assist attorneys with email and client communication, marketing, and presentations as requested
-- Administration, document management including revisions and proofing; dictation transcription for emails, letters and correspondence
-- Training, mentoring and coaching new administrative personnel as needed; provide leadership to improve processes and systems for increased effectiveness.
Requirements:
-- Minimum of high school diploma, bachelor's degree with emphasis on business administration strongly preferred.
-- At least 5+ years of experience working as a legal administrative assistant in a law firm for multiple partner level attorneys, executive-level support experience strongly preferred.
-- Excellent computer skills with word processing, Excel, scheduling, email, document management
-- Strong personal initiative, interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
-- Ability to work overtime as necessary
