This instrumental position provides administrative, secretarial and general clerical support to attorneys in the Legal Department's Arlington Office. This person will answer incoming calls and inquiries made to the Legal Office and relay this information to staff. Schedule conference calls, meetings, and training/educational sessions. Coordinate processing of outside counsel invoices. Prepare meeting materials. Maintain calendar(s) for attorneys. Coordinate meeting registration and travel arrangements and submit appropriate expense reports; Prepare contracts, leases agreements, correspondence, forms and other documents as directed and dictated; proofread all materials. Initiate other documents and correspondence as appropriate; Assist attorneys in closings, ensuring that documents are properly executed, copies made and distributed and organized files maintained; Perform basic research projects or investigations; document review; track legal matters; maintain appropriate databases; maintain and update legal file system to assure careful records of all legal activities and complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements include: Associates degree or one to three years formal training in business or secretarial school courses or in equivalent disciplines. At least five years of progressively more responsible job-related experience which includes the use of personal computer word processing software. Advanced knowledge of MicroSoft Word, Excel and familiarity with Access. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong customer service skills.
