Essential Responsibilities:
As our Legal Administrative Assistant, you will provide Harman's Global IP team with a wide range of support, including:
• Managing calendars, coordinating meetings and events
• Drafting and typing correspondence and other documents
• Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
• Preparing presentation slides and expense reports
• Assisting with various tasks related to prosecution, opposition, enforcement, and domain matters
• Serving as a central point of contact for general team information
• Responding tactfully and promptly to all inquiries
• Helping to keep the team organized in a fast-paced constantly changing environment

Basic Qualifications:
• College degree preferred, or commensurate work experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years' work experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant or similar support role in a corporate law department
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and carry out responsibilities independently in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced level proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Intellectual Property (IP) experience is preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and use discretion in dissemination of information
• Must anticipate needs, be proactive and take initiative in seeing tasks to completion
• Self-starter with ability to work in an unstructured and changing environment
• Advanced ability to network and utilize internal and external resources
• Demonstrated diligence, attention-to-detail, and follow-through skills
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines
• Experience with document management systems a plus, including Anaqua, CPi and Serengeti
