Legal and Regulatory Reporting Analyst – Edinburgh – Permanent recruitment
We are currently recruiting a Legal and Regulatory Reporting Analyst for our client, a highly prestigious Investment Management firm with a superb reputation in the market. This is a permanent role and is based in Edinburgh city centre.
This is a rare opportunity to join a leading business in a role that will allow you to play an important role in growing team working on cutting edge areas. . You will support a range of tasks within the Legal and Regulatory department, specifically advising on AML and will assist the Deputy MLRO in their duties.
As well as ensuring the business meets its legal and regulatory requirements you will be responsible for:
Co-coordinating and completing regulatory reporting tasks
To take an active role in the Shareholder/Takeover disclosure process, including completing and submitting forms, system enhancements, procedure reviews and research.
Contributing to a range of Project work
Maintaining and developing department policies procedures and spreadsheets
Assisting with anti-money laundering obligations.
Required experience:
• Previous experience of regulatory reporting in financial services, ideally investment management is desirable.
Chartered Accountancy or legal background would be preferred.
Strong numerical and analytical skills and very high levels of accuracy/attention to detail.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
The ability to work to tight deadlines with a positive approach is essential
Previous experience of regulatory filings (such as EDGAR, IARD, Gabriel etc) would be beneficial, but is not essential.
