Legal Cashier (Accounts Payable) recruitment
Our client, a top 20 city law firm are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable / Legal Cashier to join their team on a long, fixed term contract basis. This is a new role created by the firm, primarily to monitor and manage the overseas offices, including those in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Germany and Moscow. Therefore, previous experience of liaising with overseas as well as processing international payments WITHIN ANOTHER LEGAL FIRM would be highly advantageous. Main duties will include:
- Providing assistance to the Senior Accounts Payable Assistant and providing daily cover for 8 overseas offices
- Processing of payments (BACS, CHAPS and cheques)on behalf of overseas offices as distributed
- Cover for weekly supplier payment runs
- Processing of taxi courier invoices
- Processing of trade invoices as allocated
- Daily cheque run
- Cover for Barclaycard and corporate travel account
- Providing cover for other staff as required
The successful candidate must have previous accounts payable experience within another law firm and will ideally have used Elite however candidates with strong international payments exposure with varying system skill sets will also be considered. You must also demonstrate a robust and tenacious personality in order to deal with the Partners from the overseas offices as this will be of paramount importance to the role.
